Italian e-commerce volumes are worth 23.6 billion Euro a year and the figure grew by 17% when compared to the last year. There is always an increasing number of ways to pay for our E-commerce purchases and all are simple, fast and secure. the Sella group's e-commerce platform Gestpay, for example, one of the most popular in Italy when it comes to the number of customers and transactions, offers more than one hundred ways to pay: from PayPal to MyBank, from Alipay to Wechat, up to the recent integration with Apple Pay.

The latest fronteer, already used in 170 countries by 33 million customers, is Amazon Pay: the digital wallet  of Amazon that the Sella group has recently made available in Italy through its Gestpay platform. Here's how it works. The Amazon Pay option will be available for selection at the time of payment. At that point,  it will be sufficient to simply enter the name and password used to access your Amazon account and the transaction will go through. Thanks to Amazon Pay, the system will automatically retrieve and safely use the payment information (credit card, prepaid card, etc.) and the shipment method saved  in your Amazon account, without having to provide the data again to the site at which your purchase is made.

The advantages for online shoppers, therefore, are multiple, starting with a significant reduction in the time needed to complete the purchase, by not having to enter payment card and shipment method data to a number of on line merchants, where shopping is made, even occasionally, and by not having to remember all passwords associated with the sites in which they are registered.
